Fuel Surcharge Memo

Fuel surcharges reflect the variable nature of fuel costs in the transportation industry. The contracts with Connect Logistics Service’s (CLS) Carriers include a fuel surcharge. CLS reviews the Fuel Surcharge Rate (FSC) on an ongoing basis with Alberta Gaming, Liquor, and Cannabis (AGLC). CLS works diligently with Carriers to mitigate costs, including adjusting routes and order patterns to increase efficiency. Commodity costs have also stabilized compared to the recent volatile periods. Accordingly, we are pleased to announce that effective July 30th, 2023, the FSC will be reduced from $0.29 to $0.15 per case. This, and any future changes, will be reflected in your invoice.
