Fraudulent Calls - Caller Imitating CLS Employee

To: All Retailers and Licensees in Alberta

We (CLS) have been notified that calls are being made by a person(s) impersonating a Connect Logistics Services employee. To date, the name being used is Harry calling from a “587” area code – but this could change. This person has mentioned looking at integration between “Liquor Connect” and BDL. This is NOT an inquiry/solicitation from Connect. Please advise your staff of this situation.

If you have suspicions as to the legitimacy of any call we recommend ending the call and contacting Connect Customer Service at 1-800-265-6784 or CS@Connect-Logistics.com

Please record the details, such as caller ID, for tracking. Connect will refer these to AGLC and local authorities as appropriate. Thank you for being vigilant.
